TollMate Privacy Policy

TollMate is designed with privacy as a core principle. It requires no account and sends none of your personal information to us.

Jason David Galloway, a sole trader based in England, is the developer and publisher of TollMate and the data controller for any personal data you choose to send when contacting us for support.

TollMate uses your device location to detect toll crossings. Your location is processed entirely on your device by Apple's location services. It is never sent to us, never stored on any server we control, and never shared with anyone. We have no access to your location at any time.

Your crossing history and app settings are stored on your device. If you use iCloud, they also sync to your own private iCloud account using Apple's iCloud service, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. This is your personal iCloud data - we cannot access it.

TollMate contains no third-party analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking frameworks of any kind. Apple may provide us with anonymised, aggregated App Store statistics (such as total downloads and crash counts) that cannot identify you. We receive nothing else.

TollMate keeps a diagnostic log on your device to help troubleshoot detection. It stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us with a support request.

TollMate requests location access (to detect crossings) and notification permission (to remind you). It requests no other permissions that could identify or track you.

TollMate collects no personal data and is suitable for users of all ages.

You have rights under UK data protection law over any personal data you choose to provide when contacting us. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete that data by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
